A family-friendly celebration that began with kid-centered fun and shifted to an adults-focused evening—tailored to our community of Indians on Long Island. It was a great way to bring everyone together for the season. It also served as the kickoff for Desi Next and our mission.

We hosted an evening gala for the “next generation” of Desis with food, drinks, and great music—creating space to network, make friends, and build our emerging Desi Next community. 

A 5K Run/Walk at Eisenhower Park to raise cancer awareness in South Asians. We supported Be The Match (stem cell registry) and the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA), raising $10,000+ for ABTA and rallying our community around health and advocacy.

For two years in a row, we’ve hosted joyous nights of live garba/raas during Navratri—celebrating our vibrant culture, bringing families together, and showcasing the energy of our community. We’re excited to make this an annual Desi Next tradition.
